i_like_the_starsi discovered yesterday that the project sekai stories are, in fact, on the wiki, ensemble stars style. and it has made the sisyphean task of reading the stories SO much better and easier to handle. previously, i was only familiar with reading the stories through uploaded translations on youtube, which are awesome for the emotional impact of the voice acting, soundtrack, and seeing the characters themselves, but unfortunately can be rather boring to sit through for an hour every time. especially when the topic of conversation is more technical—they’re required to move the plot forward, and i appreciate the technicalities when it comes to world-building, but i can read these sections 10x quicker than i can sitting through a recorded translation.
i was aware of the “story” section of the events’ pages way back when, but i either got unlucky with my choice of story (leo/need main story, so not an event, but same difference here) and it hadn’t been uploaded yet, or i… somehow completely missed it. which, i wouldn’t put past me. at all.
all this is to say, i’ve read about 3 sekai stories today. previously, my limit was one due to how long they could be!! i also just vastly prefer reading things as opposed to watching them, which is why i tend to prefer manga over anime. i like when i can set my own pace, after all.
