just watched kpop demon hunters dhmu. y’all were NOT FUCKIN LYINGGG when y’all said ts was GOOD. and ohhhh my GOD. GOOOOOD IT WAS BETTER THAN GOOD. GUYS.

i discovered yesterday that the project sekai stories are, in fact, on the wiki, ensemble stars style. and it has made the sisyphean task of reading the stories SO much better and easier to handle. previously, i was only familiar with reading the stories through uploaded translations on youtube, which are awesome for the emotional impact of the voice acting, soundtrack, and seeing the characters themselves, but unfortunately can be rather boring to sit through for an hour every time. especially when the topic of conversation is more technical—they’re required to move the plot forward, and i appreciate the technicalities when it comes to world-building, but i can read these sections 10x quicker than i can sitting through a recorded translation.

i was aware of the “story” section of the events’ pages way back when, but i either got unlucky with my choice of story (leo/need main story, so not an event, but same difference here) and it hadn’t been uploaded yet, or i… somehow completely missed it. which, i wouldn’t put past me. at all.

all this is to say, i’ve read about 3 sekai stories today. previously, my limit was one due to how long they could be!! i also just vastly prefer reading things as opposed to watching them, which is why i tend to prefer manga over anime. i like when i can set my own pace, after all.

im on episode 14. apparently ive been down in my basement watching netflix ALL DAY 😭😭 LIKE WDYMMMM ITS 4 PM????????????? theyre on jeju island right now andiiiiiiiiiiii omg. im a huge fan of lisa see, and she wrote a novel about the women of jeju island, the island of sea women, so i was excited to see this show taking place on the island because HEY!!!!! I KNOW THAT!!!!!!!! anyway myoung-seok if ur ass is dying i am GOING TO REVOLTTTTT like seriously he’s had it rought the past episode or two 😭😭 first he gets incredibly paranoid someone is going to KILL HIM, then he’s coughing up blood(!!!!!!!!!), then he’s talking about his failed marriage, then he COLLAPSES!!!!!!!!!! i was waiting, WAITING IN AGONYYYYY, for him to tell us the results of his medical tests but the fucker just fell over instead. MYOUNG-SEOK GUT UP RIGHT NOOOOOOW!!!!!!!! if he’s dying i WILL be crying VERY hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyway. once again this show is ruining my life. its soooo good yall YAAAALLLLLLLL

i’m watching extraordinary attorney woo and YAAAALLLLLL. ts is LIFE CHANGINGGGG. woo young-woo u have three ppl in love with u. and it might as well be four, there’s no way attorney kwon doesn’t fall for your charms sooner or later. or he already has and he’s denying himself. the bad bitches i pulled by being autistic frfr!!!

i just got done episode 5 and GUH. GYUH. GOH. the su-yeon part??? I WAS CRYING. SPRING SUNSHINE SU-YEON. in tears IN REAL ACTUAL TEARS. SHE WAS SOOO TOUCHED WTFFFFF. and ohhhh my gosh jun-ho and young-woo. istg if they don’t kiss by the end of these 16 episodes I SWEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!! they make me giggle and kick my feet I CAAAAAAN’TTTT. and everything about geu-ra-mi GUUUUYYYYYSS. I LOVE FRIENDSHIPPPP. i also love geu-ra-mi a lot because she’s SO PRETTTYYYYY. and she treats young-woo like a NORMAL HUMAN BEING ITS SO SWEEEEEEET like obviously that should be the norm but it ISN’T AND IT SUCKS and geu-ra-mi was the first character in the show we saw that treated young-woo NORMALLY!!!!!

guys i freaking love this show. i fear this may be the start of a new era for me Sobbing Emoji

like actually it’s so good. i just got done reading a memoir (the places in between by rory stewart) and it was a little on the dry side (still good tho) and now i’m reading this children’s fantasy chapter book (on about the same reading level as percy jackson) and BOOOOOOOOY. boy i am hooked. books that make me remember i enjoy reading
